Video: Shake the Dust

A few months ago one of my favorite blogs, Kind Over Matter, posted this video. It’s heartfelt beauty, truth, and honesty brought tears to my eyes. I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since.

I’d like to share it with you. The poet, Anis Mojgani is an inspiration. I haven’t felt this moved by a poet in a long, long time. I think I can honestly say that I’ve spent hours on YouTube watching him perform!

Brett Dennen–World Keeps Turning

I love this song. It always makes me smile, and puts things in perspective for me. Brett Dennen is a great source of inspiration to me.

Welcome to Seeking Serendipity!

Hello, all! Let me welcome you to Seeking Serendipity: The Blog. I realized early on in my Etsy-career that I needed to have a blog outlet for my shop. I want a place to talk about what inspires me, what drives me, and hopefully to connect to those of you who are interested in my work!

I have no idea what this will turn into – I’ll forewarn you of that right here and now. It’s a project-in-the-making. I’m going to set myself free and see where it leads me.

Thank you in advance for sharing this journey with me!

Please, if you haven’t already, take a moment to read My Story and learn a little bit about myself and of what this is all about.

Wondering about the name?

Serendipity is my favorite word. I love discovering serendipitous events in my life, and I’m all about seeking them out – accidentally on purpose, you might say. I don’t go looking for them. No. Instead I try to keep an open mind, and see them after the fact. Once my eyes were opened I realized how we truly are surrounded by them!
