My life is about living for the good moments, and making the best of those that aren’t. I'm a chronic Lyme disease fighter, an aspiring writer, amateur gluten-free cook, environmentalist, and a peace-loving teenager searching for life's little inspirations in all those people, places, and things happening around me. I'm doing my best to live a life full of positive thoughts, energy, and actions to help nurture the healing I need within me. I handcraft paper beads out of recycled papers and use those to create stylish, upcycled, completely unique pieces of jewelry that I sell on Etsy.
Somehow this made it’s way onto my radar yesterday afternoon. Honestly – I’m so in love with this piece!
Isn’t that beautiful? Natural bliss, indeed.
Raise your hand if you’re craving spring too. I want lilacs, farmer’s markets, and warm sunshine; fresh lemonade and flip flops; lazy afternoons in the hammock with my kindle.
“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” – Albert Einstein
A few months ago one of my favorite blogs, Kind Over Matter, posted this video. It’s heartfelt beauty, truth, and honesty brought tears to my eyes. I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since.
I’d like to share it with you. The poet, Anis Mojgani is an inspiration. I haven’t felt this moved by a poet in a long, long time. I think I can honestly say that I’ve spent hours on YouTube watching him perform!
What a productive day!! Packaged up & shipped my 1st order of 2011, took new packaging photos, joined a new Etsy blogging team, and I have new paper beads drying!
